President Obama gave a wonderfully written and well presented speech last night to our great nations masses. First things first we have to remember that President Obama is a very well spoken man, and even used to go as far as to teach debate tactics on college campuses.

That being said, we should have expected nothing less from our fearless leader. We also have to remember that President Obama was dealt a hand that many players would fold before their initial bet. Probably close to the worst hand that any other President has had to play with in the past.

In my personal opinion, shared by millions, President Obama was the best person who could have been elected to take over the daunting task in front of him. Taking over as the leader of, one of, if not the greatest of all other nations in the world, especially in these dark times the our great nation faces.

All that aside, what was the real meat of the speech? Was it the sly comments directed towards many of the Republican officials sitting in the audience? Was it the 4th of only 3 previous times a President has ever said something negative towards our Supreme Court (this being the first one about anything the Supreme Court has done in recent events). Or was it just to reassure the nation that He has not forgotten their cries.

I think that despite those just listed, and many other topics that could be debated to have been the meat of the speech; the real issue President Obama was underling was simply this, We as Americans have forgotten what made us strong in the first place, our ability to overcome adversity and WORK towards a brighter future. For ourselves, our families, and for each other!

What made this country was hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, muck, and tears! We can not expect to keep living the lifestyles we live these days; taking hand outs, wanting more for less, believing in get rich schemes and throwing away all that was good about the way our grandparents and theirs before them built this great nation.

In conclusion I believe all Obama really wanted to say is "GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND HELP ME HELP YOU! HELP YOU HELP YOURSELF! OR ALL OF OUR FINANCIAL FUTURES WILL CONTINUE TO TWIRL DOWN THE DRAIN! QUIT LOOKING FOR HAND OUTS AND JUST PUT A LITTLE EFFORT IN AND WORK TOWARDS YOUR DREAMS DON'T WAIT FOR YOUR DREAMS TO FALL IN YOUR LAPS!"

My fellow Americans this is the sad truth, we have to each take personal actions, to better not only ourselves, but out families, children, friends, and entire communities around us. Please. Please! Please!! Do something.. you have to try if you want different results America!

And I agree completely, FINALLY somebody said it..I truly believe that one of our biggest downfalls as a great nation, is that we have lost our will to succeed and our curiosity to try new things and put effort into those things to make them work for us... thats really all it takes America..if at first you don't succeed.. try.. try again!
